Hannah and Seth’s wedding was an elegant, fairytale dream! It began in with some photos of Seth getting ready in the barn where the reception would later be held and transitioned to a small white barn, where Hannah put on her classy white wedding dress, complete with flowers down the veil and buttons all the way down the back. The first looks were abounding in tears and hugs, as people embraced this bride they knew so well. I was just so touched getting to capture it all.

The clouds were in and out that day, but the sun made a grand entrance for the ceremony, splashing it with color and whimsy. The white alter and white pews gave the ceremony a very bridal feel, and the program was simply so Christ-centered and lovely. It all was a beautiful reflection of Hannah and Seth’s love as well as the Lord’s love for them.

I was honored to get to do a couple mini sessions with Hannah and Seth throughout the wedding day, one being right after the ceremony, when they signed their marriage license, another after all the family and wedding party photos, and yet another when we snuck away during the reception. That created opportunities for different lighting and locations, while not lasting too long so that they could just have a little break together before getting back to the wedding-day action!

The reception was full of the most beautiful, thoughtful, and might I add, hilarious speeches! I don’t think there was a dry eye in there after some of the touching words from both sides of the wedding party. The dances showed the range of energy from the littlest of wedding attenders to some of the oldest! It sure was a party! And what was most sweet and unique was a private dance with just Seth and Hannah while the rest of the guests prepared for the exit. Such a beautiful conclusion to an idyllic wedding! I’m incredibly grateful to have gotten a behind-the-scenes on their love story!
